Video technicians
Support with screens, vision mixing, presentation systems and event video operation.

Hillside can also discuss additional technicians, installation crew and subcontract support for other AV and production businesses, subject to availability and project needs.

Bring the technical elements together.
Larger events can involve sound, lighting, video, staging and multiple technicians operating together. Hillside can coordinate the technical requirements as one connected production.
Technical planning
Understand the event, venue, audience, programme and intended result.
Equipment & specialists
Identify appropriate systems, engineers, operators and crew.
Installation & testing
Coordinate setup, equipment checks and practical preparation.
Live technical operation
Support the programme with the right people managing each element.
De-rig & removal
Arrange the dismantling and removal of technical equipment.
Right-sized support
From straightforward jobs to more complex productions with dedicated specialists.
You don't need an equipment list.
Some organisers already have a full technical brief. Others have a venue, a programme and an idea of the experience they want to create.
Hillside can help explore the event format, venue layout, audience needs, sound, lighting, video, staging, power, access and crew arrangements. A simple job might need a phone call; larger productions may benefit from a planning meeting and site visit.
The aim is to work out what is needed without making a straightforward event unnecessarily complicated.

Making ambitious ideas work in practice.
Alongside straightforward technical support, Hillside enjoys creative projects involving unusual combinations of sound, lighting, video and projection.
Our team’s experience includes a bespoke set incorporating specially shaped video screens, where projected content changed with the performance. Projects like these need creative problem-solving as well as technical knowledge.
